I haven’t had time to write an update, but the site is coming along quite well! I finally found a background that worked (think marble) and I redid the logos as planned. After that, I added an “About Us” section to the header and home page with lorem text until I receive the copy.
Today I built the “About Us” page, complete with a different banner, images and bio received from client. I also adjusted the header width ot accommodate the new nav link, as it threw my placement off too much, and added a little bit of styling to indicate which page is being visited.
I also switched some ids to classes given that their styling is now being applied to multiple elements across pages.

The rest of this week will be dedicated to creation of the “News”, “Portfolio” and “Contact Us” pages.
Once those are built, I want to go back and tie up some loose ends, like fleshing out the header (which just contains the copyright right now) a bit more and maybe figuring out how to do a hamburger menu with CSS and HTML (or else it can wait until I do my JavaScript review.
